In The Importance of the Microbiome of the Honey Bee, Dr. Mayer applies his deep expertise in zoological medicine and honey bee science to one of colony health's most critical and emerging areas of research. His cross-disciplinary background spanning veterinary medicine, molecular biology, and apitherapy gives this exploration a uniquely comprehensive perspective. Dr. Mayer presents as an invited speaker at the Eastern Apicultural Society's annual conference.
