In Medicinal Use of Honey – Evidence-Based Applications, Dr. Ozturk draws on his expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, and apitherapy research to examine honey as a clinically relevant therapeutic agent. As Project Director of the HONEY Pathway and Associate Professor at the University of Texas San Antonio, he stands at the forefront of honey-based medicinal science. Dr. Ozturk presents as an invited speaker at the Eastern Apicultural Society's annual conference.
