Get Involved

If you are a member of AAS, or are thinking of becoming one, consider the many ways you can be involved with AAS:

  • Attend CMACC once, twice, and even more often!  Meet with others involved with apitherapy and learn from the experts.
  • Write for the Journal or the Website – a testimonial, an article, a letter to the Editor, or provide photographs.  When you have an article accepted for the Journal your membership is extended for one year. Contact the editor at BeeEditor@aol.com for guidelines
  • Help with the Website!  Are you computer-savvy? Are you a writer?  Are you a proofreader? Are you a photographer?  Are you a graphic designer?  We need your participation to continually improve and update the website.  As a member, you will be able to post on our Forum, Blog, and receive the email Newsletter for Members Only. Contact the office with your ideas and skills
  • Get others to join AAS – spread the word!
  • Help with CMACC – with publicity, with getting sponsors and with the raffle. Get others to attend.
  • Join the Network - If you did not join when you registered, you may go “Edit Your Profile” and join the Network.  We welcome new members!
  • Organize a regional meeting!  Contact the office or a board member for assistance
  • Volunteer to make phone calls to members to renew
  • Donate funds to AAS
  • Serve on the AAS Board!

Submit an application to be on the Board, writing to the AAS office about why you want   to be on the Board and what skills and knowledge you can offer. We sometimes need new Board Members, including those with a range of skills, such as fund-raisers, publicists, people with business experience, bankers, accountants, artists, writers, computer and IT people and others within the healing professions or who have benefited from apitherapy and want to work to further its acceptance.
