I just joined the Apitherapy Society and I wanted to find some information of the treatment of athralgias, myalgias and other chronic pain conditions using Bee Venom Therapy. I had my first sting today and had no (anaphlactic) reaction. I had minimal swelling and some redness at the site of the sting (left knee). I will know better later this evening if I have any symptom relief, as my symptoms are worse in the late evening. I left the stinger in until the ‘beating’ stopped, which totaled about three minutes. Please share your experiences good or bad! Thank you.

Hi Kimkep…How are you doing with that now?  Are you on your own, or do you have someone to help you get started?  I went to a sting doctor for my first three sessions, and found it helpful to sit around and socialize with the other patients.  It seemed to take the sting out of the sting.  Even when I’m doing it at home, it helps to have someone around to talk to, to sort of split your attention.  You can email me if you want…I’m on the list.

So how is everything now?  I would love to hear all about your situation.  I am so new to this.
