Services We Provide

TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:

AAS provides services to the general public through its Website, its Journal articles, its Annual Course and Conference (CMACC), its regional events and speaking engagements throughout the United States and in other countries, and through communication with the AAS office.  Our Website allows you to subscribe to an e-mail Newsletter. The Website Journal Blog and the Website Forum are readable by all, but only AAS Members can post comments on them.  The Network of people who can provide help with Apitherapy is limited to the AAS members, an arrangement made with all those who are willing to be listed on the Network, in order to maintain their privacy.  In addition, to be listed on the Network, you must be a member.

TO ITS MEMBERS:

Our membership consists of a wide variety of people, all interested in Apitherapy, a complementary form of health care which has become increasingly accepted for enhancing and maintain health and well-being, as well as assisting in healing when illness or an accident interferes with a healthy condition.  Our members not only live in the United States, but also come from many other countries around the world.  We hope that after viewing our website, you’ll want to become a member of the AAS.  

As a member you will:

• Receive a subscription to our APITHERAPY JOURNAL, published quarterly sent by e-mail.  If you wish to receive a paper copy, you may  pay an additional fee and it will be sent to you by regular mail.
• Have access to the MEMBERS ONLY SECTION OF OUR WEBSITE where the NETWORK is provided, and where selected Journal articles are published, some of our course and conference material is presented, and other information is provided.
• Have access to the FORUM AND BLOG ON OUR WEBSITE where you can post your comments about Journal articles, about Testimonials and about apitherapy issues and read the posts of other members.
• Be eligible to be on our NETWORK of apitherapists, beekeepers, and patients where you can have contact with others involved in Apitherapy and you can help others by sharing your experiences.
• Have ACCESS TO PROFESSIONALS who are experienced apitherapists.
• Be eligible to join the BOARD where you can have an impact on the policies, the activities, and the outreach of the American Apitherapy Society.
• Receive a 10% DISCOUNT from our website store which will open soon.
• Receive a PRESCRIPTION FOR AN “EPIPEN” when you request it.
• Know that you SUPPORT APITHERAPY AND THE HONEYBEES – “OUR ALLIES IN HEALING”

Please note that we do not share our membership list.  Your name and contact information will only be provided to other individuals if you decide to join the Network, or if we contact you directly to see if you will talk with someone in your area.
